In 1999, the directors of Krayon Kids Musical Theater Company formed the Elite Travel Troupe, with a mission to provide young people opportunities to travel and perform at a professional level. The Elite Travel Troupe successfully became an overnight sensation and began to perform in various venues here in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. They were invited to participate at festivals on the International stage where they received high praise from judges around the world. The Travel Troupe has represented the United States in four world festivals where at least 25 other countries were competing between the years of 2004 and 2011. This hand-selected group of local children represents THE BEST of our traditional cast. They truly define the highest levels of discipline and commitment to the performing arts. Each Travel Troupe production is based off the old style vaudeville-trunk show. The most unusual thing about an old style vaudeville-trunk show is the overall variety of numbers that take place in a short time period as costume changes take place on stage. The troupe continues to astound and thrill audiences everywhere with their unique caliber of amazing talent and showmanship. They have become a popular attraction in the northwest and beyond. The Travel Troupe has future goals that will lead them to new and exciting places in the years to come!
