Audition Details
Date: January 25, 2025
Location: Krayon Kids Studio, 14625 SE 82nd Drive, Suite B, Clackamas, OR 97045
Dance Call | January 25th, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Required)The Dance Call will consist of learning a short combination. After learning the routine, cast members will be split into groups to audition with the dance. Attendance at this session is mandatory for all auditioners.
Vocal Auditions | January 25th, 12:30 PM – 4:00 PMPrepare a 32-bar song (30-45 seconds) of your choice from a Broadway musical or show tune. Accompaniment will not be provided, but Bluetooth music playback options are accepted.
The Director may also request you to perform sides or songs from Alice in Wonderland during your first audition.
Callbacks (By Invite Only): January 26th, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Production Fee: $350
Parent Commitment for Cast Families
As a part of the Krayon Kids Musical Theatre Company, we ask that every family commit to supporting the production in meaningful ways to ensure its success. Below are the expectations for parent involvement:
Production Department Participation:Each family is required to participate in at least one production department, such as:
Performance Weekend Commitment:During the performance weekends, each family is expected to sign up for at least 4 performances to work in either the lobby or backstage. These roles are critical for maintaining the flow of the show and providing the best experience for the audience.
Many volunteer opportunities will be available to help with various aspects of the performance weekends, including concessions, ushering, backstage support, and more.
Janitorial Commitment:To maintain a clean and safe environment for rehearsals and performances, each family will be assigned to clean the studio or common areas at the theater throughout the production timeframe. A schedule will be provided so that families can sign up for a convenient time to help with light cleaning tasks.

- Invitations for callbacks will be sent via email.
- If called back, you will be informed whether to attend the entire session or only a portion.
- Callbacks will include choreography, music, and cold readings from the script.
- Please note: Not being called back does not mean you are not being considered for a role.
Production Fee: $350
- Payment plan available:
- First payment ($150) due February 1, 2025
- Second and third payments ($100 each) due March 1 and April 1, 2025
