Elite Travel Troupe Participates at International Festival The Krayon Kid's award winning Travel Troupe was selected to represent the United States and performed this summer at the World Festival of Children's Performing Arts.  The event was held in Toyama, Japan, on July 31 thru August 5, 2008.  This was the 2nd time that the Troupe has performed in Japan, having participated in the 2004 event, where they earned the Gold Medal for their achievement. The Travel Troupe perform a one-hour vaudeville-type "Trunk Show" which displays their multitude of singing and dancing talents.  The company prepared for the festival by performing at the historic Barclay Theater on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, and in West Linn on July 15th.

Representing the USA at International Festivals

The Elite Travel Troupe has now participated in three prestigous international festivals. 

In 2004, the group brought home the Gold in 2004 from the Asia-Pacific Festival of Children's Theatre in Toyama, Japan. Click here to learn more.

In 2006, we attended the 9th World Festival of Children's Theatre in Lingen, Germany. The motto of the Festival was "Let's play together ~ Let's help each other". The Troupe presented, The American Express, an awe-inspiring journey that traveled from coast-to-coast and highlighted the variety and celebrated the diversity of American life.

Most recently, we performed at the World Festival of Children's Performing Arts in Toyama, Japan, during the summer of 2008.  Many thanks go out to the Festival officials, event volunteers, our supporters and friends and family for making our trip such an eventful and enjoyable time.
