Dianne Kohlmeier Dianne has spent a lifetime creating, writing and directing her own work. She has a background in dance, comedy, commercial advertisement and theater. Her vast experience in costume design, set design, choreography, acting, television, and film encouraged her to follow her life-long dream of developing a children's theater. In Germany, LA and Portland, Dianne had a career in modeling. She personally developed and taught a self-enhancement program for abused and incarcerated teens in the Portland area. As a child, Dianne was a U.S. figure skating champion and later became an artistic ice-skating coach at Valley Ice. She was a frequent performer in the early years of Portland Civic Theater, Portland and Washington Park musicals and became a regular on a local television show called, "Candy Cane Circus." She later had her own television show called "Afternoon with Dianne", featuring Northwest talent. Dianne has also directed, trained and produced Miss Oregon USA, Miss Universe and personally trained Miss Oregon's for the Miss America pageant. Dianne feels lucky to have "followed her dreams" to develop a children's theater and is an original founder, the artistic, costume, set and music director for Krayon Kids Musical Theatre Company and the Elite Travel Troupe. Dianne attributes the tremendous success of Krayon Kids and the Elite Travel Troupe to having enormous support and dedication from her co-directors, friends and devoted parents who believe in us. Vicki MillsVicki has performed for 25 years with the New Oregon Singers, traveling world-wide with USO shows as well as performing for Veterans' Hospitals, Shriners, Red Cross, and many other service organizations. In Portland, she has performed in Music Man, South Pacific, Bye, Bye Birdie, and danced in Broadway road companies including Chicago, Mame and Pajama Game. She was the lead dancer at Harvey Dick's world famous Barbary Coast for nine years. Vicki owned and operated "Vicki Mills Studio of Dance" for 23 years. She was a past coach for La Salle High School's dance team and has coached and trained dance and drill teams, parade units and has been an artistic ice coach on the national level. She has judged many local and state pageants, as well as numerous dance competitions and trains young ladies for pageants of all kinds. Vicki currently teaches jazz and tap at The Barclay in Oregon City as well. She is an original co-founder, choreographer and director for Krayon Kids Musical Theatre Company, The Elite Travel Troupe, The Miss Three Rivers and The Miss Cascade Scholarship Program. Yvonne PeeblesVonnie began performance training over thirty years ago. Although her early training was in dance, her vocal talents were soon discovered while performing with a local cabaret ensemble. Her dance and vocal abilities have been used in many productions in the Portland area. Vonnie was one of several artists invited to audition for the first Krayon Kids Company in 1993. She directs all aspects of vocal solos, group and production performances. She is indispensable as a Krayon Kids director for everything from costuming and choreography to hanging shelves. She is a "Krayon Kids ambassador" and through her own motivation, discipline and respect for each and every performer, sets an example as music and vocal director for both the Krayon Kids Musical Theatre Company and The Elite Travel Troupe. She accompanied the Elite Travel Troupe to Kauai, Hawaii, for the second time in August of 2002 and coordinated their performance at the 2004 Asia-Pacific Theater Festival in Toyama, Japan, and the 9th World Festival of Children's Theater in Lingen, Germany in 2006.
